The Critics Have Spoken and They Love the New Honda CR-V

January 24th, 2015 by

Dave Zulak, the general manager at Winnipeg Honda, already loves the products he sells. After all, Dave has been with the Dilawri Automotive Group for more than eight years now. He started his journey as one of our sales representatives and moved his way up the ladder to become General Manager of Winnipeg Honda.

This guy knows the Honda product list.

And as 2015 approaches, the new Honda CR-V has a tad more excited than normal. This is a sensational vehicle with a new killer look it is more stylish and sleek than any other car in its class.

Don’t believe me? Don’t believe Dave? Well, how about listening to Car and Driver Magazine’s review of the 2015 Honda CR-V: “Honda turns up the CR-V’s amperage with a round of updates that make it better in every way. A freshened exterior gives it a look that is stylish and modern, while the interior is quieter and made from soft-touch materials. Handling is improved, too, with a retuned suspension and better brakes. A new 2.4-liter four-cylinder makes the same 184 hp as before, but now connects with a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is optional. If you liked the old CR-V, you’ll love the new one.”

Still aren’t convinced?

Well then, check U.S. News and World Report’s review and ranking. If this doesn’t convince you, nothing will: “The 2015 Honda CR-V ranks 1 out of 22 Affordable Compact SUVs. This ranking is based on our analysis of published reviews and testdrives of the Honda CR-V, as well as reliability and safety data. The Honda CR-V gets excellent fuel economy, and reviewers love its roomy cabin and long list of standard features. Reviewers say the 2015 Honda CR-V’s four-cylinder engine delivers adequate power for the average commute, and many note that the CR-V’s new automatic transmission is smooth and responsive.

“According to reviewers, revisions to the 2015 Honda CR-V’s cabin include nicer materials than were in the outgoing model. The CR-V has spacious front seats and its rear seats are some of the roomiest in the class, test drivers say. The CR-V’s cargo hold offers up to 70.9 cubic feet of space, which is more space than you’ll get in most competitors. Some critics are also impressed that the CR-V comes with more standard features than many competing compact SUVs. The base CR-V comes with a rearview camera, Bluetooth, a USB port and Pandora integration. A power moon roof, navigation, a 7-inch touch-screen display, a seven-speaker stereo system, satellite radio, dual-zone automatic climate control, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, push-button start and adaptive cruise control are available.”
Oh yeah, and here’s what Kelley Blue Book had to say: “The competition will find it difficult to match the new CR-V in looks, fuel economy, feature content and safety, but where it really stands out is value for the money.”
You gotta see this beautiful new 2015 Honda CR-V for yourself. So make sure you head down to see Dave and his terrific staff at Winnipeg Honda, 900-1717 Waverley Street.
